| The idea behind jordanp.com first came about in 2000 but the domain wasn't registered until 2002. I had a portfolio website already but I wanted to work on something more fun and less professional. I had originally started the website just so I could practice and learn more about web designing and maintaining a website. Just so I could try out things that I thought were cool at the time. When I started the site, I really didn't know or care if people actually came to it. It was made for me, basically my way of documenting my life and keeping my shit together. Sometimes I forget that anyone in the world with Internet access can stumble across here and read and see everything about me. Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way, that some people don't want to be on the Internet even if their name's never mentioned. But I don't really care anymore, this is me and part of my life and it probably will be as long as I own a computer. So after taking a year off from focusing more on work and life, jordanp.com is back online with some new tricks. |
